Job Summary

The Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for executing and supervising electrical works at the project site, ensuring that all installations are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with technical office teams, subcontractors, and quality inspectors to ensure the timely and compliant delivery of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect the installation of electrical systems including lighting, power, low voltage, and ELV systems.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with the technical office for drawing updates, clarifications, and material approvals.
• Monitor site progress and report on work status, risks, and deviations.
• Conduct site inspections with consultants and clients for work verification and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Support in the preparation of red-line drawings and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, architectural) for smooth site execution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical site execution, preferably within the MEP or construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV systems, ELV systems, grounding, and cabling.
• Familiar with local authority regulations and approval procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Good communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
